Oscars 2023 : La grosse arnaque Everything Everywhere All at Once

Que s'est-il passé aux Oscars cette nuit ? Le cinéma classique est-il définitivement mort aux US. On attendait évidemment que Everything Everywhere All at Once ait des prix mais pas autant.
La purge des deux Daniels (lire critique ici) remporte donc sept statuettes dont meilleur film et meilleurs réalisateurs cités plus haut, face à Spielberg, Lurhmann et consort. Michelle Yeoh qui en a fait des tonnes ces derniers jours pour avoir le prix l'emporte bien évidemment, Jamie Lee Curtis et Ke Huy Quan (seul prix qui va au capital sympathie) également.
Spielberg, Luhrmann repartent bredouilles, Cameron n'a que l'Oscar des meilleurs effets spéciaux encore heureux, ce dernier pas dupe n'était même pas dans la salle.
Le meilleur acteur va à Brendan Fraser pour The Whale (là aussi capital sympathie) mais pour un film pas ouf semble-t-il. A signaler quand même que Netflix rentre dans la course pour son A l'Ouest rien de nouveau, meilleur film étranger, notamment. Black Panther 2 devra se contenter des meilleurs costumes alors qu'on espérait Angela Bassett. Guillermo Del Toro pour Pinocchio meilleur film d'animation, maigre consolation.
Non, désormais une page se tourne, Spielberg avait déjà eu des Oscars, mais il s'était fait rafler l'année dernière de West Side Story pour le très mauvais Power of Dog.
Désormais pour avoir l'Oscar il faut être décalé et faire du gros n'importe quoi. Avec une cérémonie en perte d'audience depuis des années. L'avenir n'est pas rose.
