Cannes 2025 : la sélection

Le compte à rebours est lancé. A un peu plus d'un mois de son lancement, Thierry Frémaux a dévoilé la sélection du 78ème festival de Cannes ce jour.
Hors Compétition, la grosse machine US sera le prochain Mission : Impossible enfin confirmé, mais aussi Vie Privée, premier film français pour Jodie Foster où les derniers Klapisch et Spike Lee.
En Compétition, en vrac, le surcoté Ari Aster y arrive pour la première fois avec Eddington présenté comme un western d'épouvante, Nouvelle vague de Richard Linkater, le prochain film des Dardenne et Dominik Moll.
On notera dans Un certain regard, les premières réalisations de Scarlett Johansson et Harris Dickinson.
Enfin, le "maître" de cérémonie sera Laurent Lafitte et une Palme d'honneur sera remis à Robert DeNiro qui ne manquera pas de faire des piques contre un certain Président US.
Espérons enfin, que ce sera mieux couvert que les dernières années car depuis que c'est sur France TV, c'est surtout sur Youtube pour ma part. A noter que la plupart des films présentés n'ont pas encore de dates françaises.
