Plus de 45 M$ supplémentaires, 122 M$ US et 161 en tout auquel il faut ajouter, la plus faible baisse de l'histoire, Sinners impressionne Hollywood, preuve que les films originaux et non tirés de franchises, suites etc peuvent exister malgré plusieurs échecs récents.
Warner Bros ressort largement du rouge avec Minecraft qui se maintient assez bien de près 380 M$ US et 816 Mondiaux, le Milliard est possible.
L'autre surprise, c'est la reprise de Star Wars : la Revanche des Siths qui empoche 25 M$ en seconde place. Descendu il y'a vingt ans comme son interprète, même si c'est le film le mieux reçu, Lucas doit prendre une douce revanche, même si ce n'est évidemment pas le même public. La folie gagne la France, où le film n'est diffusé qu'en séance spéciale pour le moment, espérons que Disney change d'avis et le fait en traditionnel.
Succès surprise de 2016 MR Wolff 2 est de retour et ouvre à 24 M$ soit enfin un bon score pour Ben Affleck qui est de retour sans Anna Kendrick ici, à noter il n'a pas de date française, possiblement sur Prime Vidéo.
Enfin, Until Dawn, adaptation d'un jeu vidéo revu style Un jour sans fin échoue pour 8 M et très mal distribué en France, c'est le second échec pour David F Sandberg après le dernier Shazam.
Autrement, The King of the Kings commence à accuser le coup de n'être sorti qu'aux USA malgré 77 M$ de cumul, The Amateur dépasse les 80 M en tout (33) et Warfare 2 M. Jolie remontée pour La Légende d'Ochi qui dépasse le Millions de $.
Week-end suivants calme dans les salles US.
