BO US-Split, le retour de Shyamalan continue

Le retour de M. Night Shyamalan continue avec l'intrigant Split qui se permet de démarrer en tête avec 40 M$ rien moins. Lancé avec 6ème sens et son fameux twist final, Shyamalan n'a eu de cesse d'être démolit par les critiques, souvent d'une manière injuste depuis quinze ans, il était revenu il y a deux ans avec The Visit, il rempile donc ici.
Cette histoire de psychopathe à plusieurs personnalités permet aussi à Universal et James MacAvoy d'être en tête.
Vin Diesel doit faire grise mine, son XxX Reactivated ne connaît pas et de loin le départ escompté, 20 M pour un coût (quand même) de 85, on a connu Diesel plus en forme et Paramount continue d'accumuler des revers.
Les figures de l'ombre reste en tête avec 84 M de cumul et le film phénomène La La Land frôle les 90 M, on va enfin pouvoir vérifier si tout ce tapage vaut le coup, ça sort Mercredi en France et les avis sont partagés, certains crient au chef d'oeuvre, d'autres trouvent ce buzz très surestimé.
Par la suite, Monster Cars se rattrape avec 22 M, peut être pas le gros flop prévu, Rogue One franchit enfin le Milliard en Mondial, Tous en scène frôle les 250 M (sortie France Mercredi également), tandis que Le fondateur avec Michael Keaton fait un flop pour même pas 4 M.
Le week-end prochain, Resident Evil : Chapitre final réussira-t-il mieux qu'Underworld 5 ? réponse le week-end prochain.
