BO US-Joli doublé pour James Wan
2 Mois environ après Conjuring James Wan récidive avec la suite de l'excellent Insidious intitulé Chapitre 2. Tourné pour la ridicule somme de 5 M de $, le film en rapporte 41 soit la même chose que pour Conjuring. Même si Wan a annoncé qu'il ne tournerait plus de films d'horreur (son prochain sera Fast and Furioius 7) il y a là un phénomène certain.
Près de 20 ans après Le 5ème élément, Luc Besson tentait une nouvelle grosse sortie américaine avec The Family (Malavita en français) et son gros casting pour un résultat un peu décevant. Le film ne rapporte que 14 M pour un budget de 30, on aurait pût s'attendre à mieux, (à noter que le réalisateur tourne en ce moment à Paris Lucy une grosse production d'action avec Scarlett Johansson).
Autrement, Riddick plonge mais avec 31 M, le film a déjà rempli son contrat à l'international, Le Majordome dépasse les 100 M, Les Millers les 131.
Enfin, Blue Jasmine s'approche des 30 M devenant le plus gros succès de Woody Allen depuis Minuit à Paris.
La semaine prochaine, c'est Rush le dernier Ron Howard qui sera la principale sortie sans oublier la reprise en 3D (argh) du Magicien d'Oz de Victor Fleming.
