Comédie de Woody Allen avec Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas....

A Londres un écrivain qui attend l'acceptation de son prochain roman et dont son mariage bat de l'aile tombe amoureux de sa jolie voisine. Sa femme n'est pas insensible au charme de son nouveau patron tandis que sa mère est obnubilée par une voyante qu'elle consulte.
Woody Allen crû 2010. Après la réussite de Match Point, il semble que le réalisateur descende d'un cran à chacun de ses films. Si l'ensemble n'est pas désagréable et possède quelques dialogues et situations croustillantes, en revanche l'ennui n'est pas loin. La Woody Allen touch est trop présente et commence vraiment à avoir ses limites jusqu'à une fin étonnante où sans en révéler trop Allen laisse en plan tous ses personnages et qui plombe le film.
Bref, Woody Allen très, très mineur, malgré le plaisir des acteurs, je pense que son style a atteint ses limites et qu'il faudrait qu'il revienne à un genre plus Match Point.
