BO US-Rango
C'est donc le premier film d'animation de Gore Verbinski après la saga Pirates des Caraïbes Rango qui arive en tête avec 38 M. Pari risqué pour Paramount pour un concept qui n'est pas une suite ou une adaptation de quelque chose et qui plus est le film ne semble pas être en 3D. Le score est toutefois un peu décevant et le studio espère que le bouche à oreille comme Dragons fasse son effet.
3ème film de l'année en 3 Mois avec Matt Damon, L'agence peut redonner du sourire à Universal puisque le film démarre avec un très honnête 20 M environ, pas énorme mais suffisamment réussit pour laisser le studio souffler un peu après plusieurs échecs.
Beastly sorte de version moderne de La belle et la bête termine à 10 M de $.
Par la suite, Bons à tirer cumule désormais 27 M, Gnomeo et Juliette 83 et Sans Identité 53 (succès honnête).
La semaine prochaine, premier gros blockbuster de l'année avec Battle Los Angeles, le film d'animation Milo sur Mars et la nouvelle version du Chaperon Rouge par la réalisatrice du premier Twilight.
