BO US - Bon démarrage pour Disclosure Day

On attendait le retour de Steven Spielberg aux blockbusters et aux intrigues extra-terrestres, le film ne déçoit pas. Avec 44 M$ US, mais 92 M en tout, Disclosure Day fait largement mieux que les prévisions et Spielberg s'offre sa meilleure ouverture hors franchise depuis au moins, le dernier Indiana Jones. Banco pour Universal en attendant le Nolan dont les préventes explosent tout sur leur passage. Sa tenue sera à observer malgré des retours qui divisent. Ici on a le droit de ne pas aimer bien entendu, mais pas comme certains pour faire des clics et des vues comme c'est la mode en argumentant si possible.
Autrement, Obsession tient bon (nouveau carton pour Universal avec sa filiale Focus) de 188 M$ US et 286 M en tout, on avait pas vu ça depuis E.T. nous dit-on. C'est plus compliqué pour Backrooms qui cumule néanmoins déjà 160 M$ US et 248 globaux, même si il se maintient moins bien.
En revanche, grosse chute logique pour Scary Movie qui affiche tout de même 173 M $ en tout, idem pour Les Maîtres de l'Univers qui patine à 86 M$. A noter si suites prévues, elles devraient être annulées.
Enfin, The Mandalorian & Grogu cumule 315 M$ et Michael 932 (chiffres globaux).
Côté nouveautés, la comédie catastrophe Stop ! That ! Train ! et le film de karaté The Furious ouvrent à 2 M$, pas terrible, terrible.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Toy Story 5, Disney semble prévoir une ouverture record, l'été sera chaud dans les salles US.
