BO US - Vague de froid pour Retour à Silent Hill

Avant toute chose, il faut signaler que les Etats-Unis sont victimes d'une grosse vague de froid quasi inédite avec lacs gelés, infrastructures fragiles, coupures d'électricités, cinémas fermés, habitants demandés de rester chez eux etc. Forcément ça impacte la fréquentation des salles.
C'est donc toutefois le retour du russe énervé Tibur Bekmambetov qui déplace Avatar avec Reconnu coupable (Mercy en VO), Chris Pratt piégé par l'IA Rebecca Ferguson qui l'a inventé. Avec 11 M$ seulement, c'est quand même pas terrible, terrible et il ne menacera pas longtemps Avatar.
Avatar : De feu et de cendres passe donc second pour 378 M$ US et 1 378 000 000 Mondial c'est dire
Mais la douche froide est obtenue par Retour à Silent Hill qui marque le retour de Christophe Gans après 15 ans d'absence. Précédé d'un tournage chaotique et de retours catastrophiques, il ouvre à 3M$, soit le premier gros, gros flop de son réalisateur qui, tournant peu, on risque de ne pas le revoir de sitôt.
Autrement, La femme de ménage dépasse les 217 M Mondiaux , Zootopie 2 les 400 M aux US et Marty Supreme s'approche des 90 M sur le territoire national.
Grosse chute pour 28 ans plus tard : Le Temple des Morts qui peine à 20 M (46 en tout) et Hamnet profite de l'effet Golden Globes avant les Oscars pour remonter et cumuler 17 M$.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Send Help le dernier Sam Raimi qui bénéficie de très bons retours.
