Jouant au jeu des Loups-garous de Thiercelieux, une famille dont le grand-père commence à perdre la mémoire se retrouve soudain dans le jeu à l'époque médiévale et va devoir finir la partie pour revenir au présent.
Adaptation du jeu de rôle inconnu à l'époque mais rendu célèbre par son passage sur Canal +. L'ensemble est plutôt sympathique avec une ambiance médiévale et reconstitution bien rendues. Les effets spéciaux des créatures et le rythme se suit sans trop d'ennuis. Franck Dubosc s'en sort bien et Jean Reno fait plaisir à retrouver sans compter des anachronismes sympathiques.
Malheureusement, le film est complètement plombé par un énième discours féministe asséné par Suzanne Clément tout au long de l'histoire, on est à l'époque médiévale certes, mais amusant au début, ça finit véritablement par lasser, avec le fils qui cherche son identité et son pouvoir est de se transformer, on sent venir l'allusion.
Bref, il n'y avait pas besoin de cela et surtout d'insister lourdement, pour ce divertissement cependant honnête avec l'acteur d'Emily In Paris d'un rôle surprise mais qu'on devine à des kilomètres. A voir, malgré ce handicap.
