Thriller aérien de Mel Gibson avec Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, Topher Grace

Une Marshall doit transporter le témoin important en avion au dessus de l'Alaska, mais elle se rend compte que le pilote n'est pas celui qu'il prétend être.
Retour de Mel Gibson réalisateur près de dix ans après son film de guerre Tu ne tueras point pour une petite série B que l'on croirait écrite dans les années 90 et qui est surprenant de la part de Gibson.
Disons le tout de suite, cela se laisse honnêtement voir, mais un Mark Wahlberg en roue libre en méchant et qui est vite relégué au second plan, des effets spéciaux pas spécialement terribles, pas mal de clichés, on est loin du grand Gibson d'avant.
On devine qu'il a peut être accepté le projet pour pouvoir faire des films plus ambitieux après, comme la suite de La Passion du Christ en attente depuis plusieurs années.
Reste donc quand même une plutôt excellente Michelle Dockery, vraie vedette de l'histoire, un touchant Topher Grace et quelques rebondissements spectaculaires notamment le final, mais même là on se croirait retourner 30 ans avant. En attendant le vrai retour de Mel Gibson, à voir un Samedi soir pour se distraire entre copains.
