BO US - Le Robot Sauvage en tête, flop pour Megalopolis

Annoncé depuis plusieurs mois avec de très beaux trailers et de bons retours, Le Robot Sauvage confirme tout ça pour 35 M$ US de démarrage et plus de 50 en Mondial et il n'est pas sorti partout, même si Universal et DreamWorks en attendait certainement plus. On verra lors des autres pays.
Comme annoncé le film de Coppola Megalopolis (qui dit que le cinéma actuel US est tout nul comme beaucoup de ses anciens confrères) se plante dans les grandes largeurs pour 4 M$ seulement. Une gageure, le film aurait coûté plus de 100 M dont beaucoup venant de Coppola. On peut rêver d'un film et ne pas prendre les spectateurs pour des imbéciles. Dommage pour Adam Driver et Nathalie Emmanuel.
Enfin, Devara Part 1, énième film indien historique de 3heures ouvre à 6 M dans un circuit plus limité.
Autrement, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice continue son ascension en se maintenant bien de 250 M$ US et 373 Mondial, idem pour Speak No Evil qui touche les 28 M, échecs confirmés pour Mother Land (8 M) et The Substance plus de 6 M.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Joker Folie à Deux dont les pronostics sont moins bons que le premier et qui semble plus chanter que prévu, nouvelle déception ?
