En l'absence de nouveautés, les films sortis poursuivent leurs parcours.
Garfield se place en tête pour 51 M$ US et 151 Mondial, bonne opération pour Sony un peu en perte de vitesse ces derniers temps.
Blue et Compagnie se maintient très bien après un départ un peu timide pour 80 M$ et 138 en Mondial, ce qui prouve que John Krasinski est une valeur sûre côté réalisateur.
Furiosa confirme hélas son revers, même si il limite un peu la casse en dépassant les 114 M Mondial (69 aux US), mais ça va être dur de rembourser son coût. On critique Hollywood qui ne fait que des suites, mais quand il s'agit d'un projet plutôt original, ça ne marche pas non plus, bref.
La Planète des Singes valide son succès pour 339 M Mondial (et près de 200 US), c'est le plus gros score de Century Studios depuis Avatar, la suite est évidemment logique, on ne s'en plaindra pas.
Enfin, en circuit limité, le Disney Young Woman and The Sea de Joachim Ronning avec Daisy Ridley en première nageuse ayant traversé la Manche dans les années 20 récolte 500 000 $, le film devrait arriver directement en France sur Disney +.
Et Les Intrus offre un joli petit succès à Renny Harlin depuis un moment (28 M).
Le week-end prochain, c'est Bad Boys : Ride or Die premier film avec Will Smith depuis la gifle et Les Guetteurs, la prod Shyamalan.
