BO US - Carton surprise pour Five Nights at Freddy's

Five Night S At Freddy S_FR 2
Peu de monde l'avait vu venir, mais Five Nights at Freddy's est le carton surprise du week-end. Avec 78 M$ US et 130 dans le monde, il se place juste derrière la première partie de Ca au niveau des films fantastiques.
Adapté d'un jeu vidéo culte chez certains des années 80, l'histoire met en scène un veilleur de nuit d'une fête foraine qui va avoir affaire à des poupées possédées. Le film pourrait bien relancer la carrière de Josh Hutcherson un peu en berne ces derniers temps et donner un nouveau carton à Universal et Jason Blum qui a décidément du flair.
Autrement, Taylor Swift : The Eras Tour continue son succès pour près de 150 M$, grosse chute pour Killers of the Flower Moon qui cumule 40 M$ (84 Mondial), un casting et des critiques ne font pas tout.
Enfin, l'autre nouveauté After Death une sorte de documentaire sur les personnes qui ont connu des morts imminentes ouvre à 5 M. Et Winter Break le dernier Alexander Payne dans un circuit limité à 200 000 $.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Priscilla le nouveau Sofia Coppola sur Priscilla Presley qui sera la petite nouveauté en attendant The Marvels dont la promo est étrangement silencieuse.
