On espérait peut être mais non. Prévu depuis des années passé entre les mains de différents acteurs, réalisateurs pour échouer chez le sympathique André Øvredal (Scary Stories, The Jane Doe Identity), Le Dernier voyage du Demeter est un bide cinglant de 6 500 000 $ en ouverture. Maintenant comme Le Manoir Hanté de Disney, ce n'était peut être pas la bonne époque.
Après le bide de Renfield, Universal doit avoir grise mine .. Reste à voir le film sur place avec un sujet tentant.
Sinon, énième week-end avec Barbie (526 000 000 $US) et Oppenhiemer (264 M) en tête...
En eaux très troubles baisse finalement peu en cumulant 54 M, peut être pas encore suffisant pour un troisième opus. Les Ninja Turtles cumulent 74 M $ US et s'approchent des 100 M en Mondial, peut être pas aussi le score espéré.
Enfin, Le Manoir Hanté se rattrape un peu pour 52 M$, mais c'est encore trop peu ici.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Blue Beetle. Nouveau flop en vu pour Warner/DC où bonne surprise ? Réponse la semaine prochaine.
