BO US - Super Mario Bros devient Milliardaire en quatre semaines

En l'absence de aucune grosses sorties, rien ne semble arrêter le rouleau compresseur Super Mario Bros qui affiche 490 M$ US, mais vient de dépasser le Milliard en Mondial en quatre semaines d'exploitation, un quasi record. Désormais, Illumination compte de plus en plus dans le domaine de l'animé et Universal se frotte les mains, nul doute qu'une suite est déjà prévue.
Autrement, côté nouveauté on citera la comédie romantique avec Rachel McAdams Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret qui ouvre à près de 7 M$, peu de chance que le film arrive dans l'hexagone, où la reprise du Retour du Jedi pour ses 40 ans qui affiche quand même 4 M$ pour une 5ème place quand on sait que c'est le volet le plus détesté (injustement) de la première trilogie.
Autrement, Evil Dead Rise se maintient pour 44 M, Donjons & Dragons s'approche des 90, mais des 200 en Mondial et John Wick 4 toujours increvable fait 176 M$ US mais dépasse les 402 en Mondial.
Le week-end prochain, grosse sortie pour Les Gardiens de la Galaxie 3 qui risque de faire respirer Marvel au vu des bons retours inattendus du film.
