Premier Marvel de l'année, Ant-Man et la Guêpe : Quantumania est aussi le premier gros blockbuster à sortir depuis Avatar et le film ouvre à 104 M$ US et 357 M en Mondial, autant dire de quoi rassurer Feige et Disney. Mais attention à la deuxième semaine qui confirmera où non ce bon départ, car le MCU subit des avis négatifs sur la plupart des sites spécialisés depuis quelques temps (sans compter les haters français qui démolissent tous les films), bref le vrai succès sera le week-end prochain où pas.
A côté, Marlowe le nouveau Neil Jordan/Liam Neeson ouvre à 2 M, pas folichon.
Par la suite, Avatar : La voie de l'eau ne faiblit pas et cumule près de 660 M US dépassant Titanic en Mondial dont la ressortie affiche 12 M. Magic Mike Let's Dance se maintient bien pour près de 18 M$ (la sortie directe to video en France se confirme le 14 Juin), Knock at the Cabin atteint les 30 M et Le Chat Potté 2 les 166.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Crazy Bear qui sera la tête d'affiche.
