BO US : La surprise Violent Night

Petit intrus surprise ce week-end avec Violent Night présenté comme une sorte de parodie des Die Hard, annoncé comme très violent et sanglant et signé Tommy Wirkola (Hansel & Gretel, Seven Sisters), le film ouvre à 13 M$ pour un coût sans doute pas énorme. C'est le premier petit succès de David Harbour en solo, l'acteur de Stranger Things ayant du mal à percer en salles (le flop de Hellboy) et une bonne aubaine pour Universal.
Par la suite, Wakanda Forever cumule 393 M$ et 733 en Mondial, le flop se confirme pour Avalonia avec 25 M$ seulement et une chute normale, Le Menu tient bon la rampe et ses 24 M$.
Enfin, The Fabelmans est toujours bloqué dans 638 salles pour 5 M$ seulement. Malgré de bons retours et le report du film en France fin Février, Universal ne semble visiblement pas comment vendre le film, malgré le nom de Spielberg qui n'est plus le roi du box-office d'antan (son dernier hit remonte à Tinin, malgré la bonne tenue de Player One), triste.
Le week-end prochain c'est Le Pire voisin au monde le nouveau Tom Hanks en attendant Avatar.
