Avec 71 M$ US et déjà 141 en Mondial, Sonic 2 crée autant la surprise qu'il y'a deux ans faisant même mieux que son prédécesseur. Paramount qui aligne les succès peut sabler le champagne, puisque Le Secret de la cité perdue se maintient bien pour un total de 68 M$.
Par contre, ce n'est pas la joie pour Michael Bay, son Ambulance obtient une des plus faibles ouvertures du réalisateur avec 8 M$ environ, de quoi pas encourager les scénarios originaux de ce type dans les prochaines années.
Mais la grosse chute du week-end revient à Morbius qui avec 73 % gagne la plus grosse dégringolade de tout Marvel réunit depuis sa création malgré un cumul de 57 M$ et 126 en Mondial. Ce sera dur à atteindre les 100 pour le film, ce qui n'est pas sans doute pour réjouir certains, mais Sony devra revoir sa stratégie pour les futurs opus.
Rapidement, The Batman frôle les 360 M$ aux US, Everything Everywhere All at Once, comédie fantastique avec Michelle Yeoh fait une jolie remontée pour total de 8 M$ et une sixième place au classement et Uncharted dépasse les 142 M$ US.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Les Animaux Fantastiques : Les secrets de Dumbledore avec des premiers retours divisés et une "hype" qui ne semble pas vraiment prendre.
