BO US - Free Guy toujours en tête, catastrophe pour les nouveautés

Avec 58 M$ US et 111 M dans le Monde, Free Guy devient donc le premier vrai succès depuis au moins deux ans pour 20th Century Studios qui devrait valider une suite.
Comme en France, Pat'Patrouille le film s'impose second avec 13 M$ très honnêtes pour un budget qui ne doit pas être énorme, un bon départ ce qui n'est pas le cas des trois autres nouveautés.
Celles-ci ouvrent à peu près toutes à environ 2 M$ et ce n'est pas des petits films. Reminiscence, le film de Lisa Joy avec Hugh Jackman, The Protégé de Martin Campbell avec Maggie Q, Michael Keaton et Samuel L. Jackson (qui n'a toujours pas de dates de sortie France) et La Proie d'une ombre thriller fantastique porté par Rebecca Hall, bref ce n'est pas la joie.
Autrement, Jungle Cruise se maintient bien et s'approche des 100 M$ aux US, Respect sur Aretha Franklin plonge et patine à 15M$, encore pas une très bonne opération pour MGM, enfin The Suicide Squad frôle timidement les 50 M$ US et dépasse les 140 en Mondial.
Le week-end prochain, c'est le remake de Candyman qui arrive reporté curieusement d'un mois pour la France (29 Septembre).
