Free Guy_US 6
Un peu plus de 28 M$ US et 50 M à l'international, Free Guy donne son premier vrai succès à 20th Century Studio depuis sa nouvelle appellation et à l'ex Fox depuis un bail en prouvant que Ryan Reynolds est toujours une valeur sûre à tel point que Disney (maison mère) a annoncé déjà une suite. Bonne opération dans un box-office et un pays de nouveau mis à mal avec le variant Delta.
Ce n'est pas du tout pareil pour Don't Breathe 2 qui ouvre à 10 M$, on est loin de l'ouverture du premier opus. Ici Stephen Lang reprend son rôle et doit sauver cette fois-ci son enfant. Le film est cependant R aux USA et annoncé - 16 ans en France ce qui est plutôt rare.
Enfin, Respect biopic d'Aretha Franklin avec Jennifer Hudson est loin de faire des étincelles aussi pour 8 M$. Déception pour MGM et son nouveau logo, malgré les Oscars.
Autrement, Jungle Cruise se maintient bien, 82 M$ US et 152 Mondial, à ce rythme une suite devrait voir le jour et c'est tant mieux (n'en déplaise aux anti-Disney). The Suicide Squad par contre, continue sa dégringolade pour 42 M$ et 118 en Mondial, assez curieux vu les retours, le bouche à oreille ne suit pas aux US. Enfin, Black Widow s'approche des 180 M$ US et Old cumule 42 M.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Reminiscence avec Hugh Jackman qui sera la vedette.
