BO US - Premier gros succès annoncé de Godzilla VS Kong sous l'ère du Covid

Godzilla VS Kong_Imax
Annoncé depuis plusieurs jours comme le premier potentiel gros succès depuis l'arrivée du Covid, Godzilla VS Kong tient toutes ses promesses en cumulant en cinq jours d'exploitation 48.5 M$ US soit près de 50 M tout de même et 285 M en Mondial.
Après un début un peu hésitant, la stratégie Warner salles/HBO Max commence à payer d'autant que Tom & Jerry continue de bien marcher pour près de 40 M $ US et s'approchant des 100 Mondial.
Mine de rien, c'est le seul studio qui commence à être rentable depuis la pandémie et les retours de Kong sont plutôt bons même si les humains sont, semble-t-il en retrait. Voilà en tout cas une bonne nouvelle surtout après le semi-échec de Godzilla II : Roi des monstres. Enfin, la sortie française est prévue le 19 Mai......
Autrement, Raya et le dernier dragon affiche 32 M$ US et près de 86 M, la sortie française fin Avril a été annulée évidemment, le thriller Nobody (dont la promo ne donne pas du tout envie) cumule 11 M$ US, 21 M Mondial et en deuxième position, un film fantastique The Unholy démarre à 3 200 000 $.
Avec des salles qui rouvrent de plus en plus et des jauges de spectateurs qui augmentent, preuve que le public US veut toujours aller en salles, on ne peut que s'en réjouir.
