Nouvelle production Warner avec Tom & Jerry : Le film mélangeant animation (les deux personnages du titre) et prises de vues réelles avec Chloe Grace Moretz et Michael Pena le tout sous la direction de Tim Story.
Avec 13.7 M$, le film s'offre un des plus gros démarrages sous l'ère Covid, avec des salles toujours fermées dans les grandes villes et l'annonce que New York rouvrirait cette semaine pourrait booster son score. Il est clair qu'avec une bande annonce qui pouvait donner quelque chose de sympathique, le public a besoin de se distraire, même si les mesures de protections seront toujours de vigueur. Enfin en France, le film devait sortir le 17 Février .. Ira-t-il directement en vidéo comme ses prédécesseurs Warner ? Le monde de la culture fait pression pour rouvrir les salles, cela devrait bouger dans les prochains jours on l'espère.
En 2ème position, increvable, Les Croods 2 : Nouvelle ère cumule 52 M$ US et dépasse les 156 dans le monde, Wonder Woman 1984 patine à 43 M$ US et 161 Mondial dans un classement qui remonterait un peu la pente après des mois de disettes.
