Disney a officialisé la mise en chantier de la suite d'Aladdin, Guy Ritchie et le casting d'origine devrait être de retour. Ce ne sera pas un remake du Retour de Jafar mais bien une histoire inédite comme Maléfique où La Reine des Neiges. Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton) et John Gatnis (Flight) sont au scénario.
Toujours chez Disney, Rick Moranis sort de sa retraite pour reprendre son rôle dans le nouveau Chérie j'ai rétréci les gosses que vient de confirmer le studio, le film sera toujours signé Joe Johnston, on ignore si ce sera une suite, reboot etc. A suivre.
Il devait être le film suivant du mort né Dark Universe après La Momie version Tom Cruise, La Fiancée de Frankenstein refait surface, John Krasinski (Sans un bruit) aurait été approché pour la réalisation. Universal attend le résultat au box office de Invisible Man pour lancer plusieurs pistes.

Enfin, tourné depuis au moins plus de cinq ans, la rencontre Jackie Chan, Arnold Schwarzenegger se dévoile enfin avec un premier trailer offficiel Outre-Manche qui a des faux airs des Detective Dee, avec aussi Jason Flemyng. Ca s'appelle The Iron Mask. Pas de date française bien entendu.
