BO US - Crazy Rich Asians toujours au top
Crazy Rich Asians_US
Depuis plusieurs semaines, le sommet du box office US ne change pas faisant de Warner le gros vainqueur de cette fin d'été.
Le phénomène Crazy Rich Asians ne démord pas et cumule 110 M$, En eaux troubles-The Meg 120 M$ US (remboursant presque son coût et 462 M à l'international dont la Chine), Mission : Impossible Fallout et ses 204 M$ a aisément rempli sa mission.
La première nouveauté, Opération Finale sur la traque de criminels nazis démarre à 7 M pour un coût de 24, pas terrible. A noter que c'est le nouveau film de Chris Weitz qui change encore de registre et que l'on retrouve Mélanie Laurent, malgré cela, pas encore de sortie France.
Le gros, gros bide du week-end semble être Kin, le commencement, annoncé comme une potentielle nouvelle franchise et produite par le studio de Stranger Things, le film ouvre à 3 M$, c'est tout ! Autant dire que les suites envisagées ne verront jamais le jour.
Enfin, pas de surprise pour Papillon, même toujours en sortie limitée, le film plonge et ne totalise même pas 2 M$, il est complètement passé inaperçu en France.
Autrement, porté par de bons retours, le thriller Searching fait une grosse remontée à la 5ème place et avec 6 M$, Jean-Christophe & Winnie se maintient très bien pour 85 M, BlacKkKlansman aussi avec 38 M et Les indestructibles 2 dépasse les 600 M US.
Le week-end prochain, c'est donc La Nonne qui arrive en force et Peppermint qui marque le grand retour de Jennifer Garner.
