BO US - Ocean's 8 en tête

On croyait la franchise Ocean's morte et enterrée surtout après un pas terrible troisième volet, c'était sans compter l'imagination des producteurs qui ont convoqué un casting féminin avec Sandra Bullock qui marque ici son retour.
Ocean's 8 se permet de faire le meilleur démarrage de la franchise avec 41 M$ pour un coût de 70, les autres volets en leur temps, n'avaient pas réussi a ouvrir à plus de 40 M.
Même si l'ensemble peut donner quelque chose de sympathique, on peut être aussi agacer que le casting féminin soit récupérer par certains pour cette pénible cause féministe qui est en train de censurer tout et n'importe quoi. Le film est réalisé (oh sacrilège !) par un homme Gary Ross cinéaste du tout premier Hunger Games et du plus intéressant Seabiscuit.
Autrement, porté par un petit buzz en France Hérédité s'en sort honnêtement avec 13 M$, le bide du week-end est sans conteste Hotel Artemis malgré la présence d'un gros casting dont Jodie Foster avec 3 M.
A noter que Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom qui ne sort que dans deux semaines aux USA a déjà engrangé 151 M pour un coût de 170.
Par la suite, Solo : A Star Wars Story ralentit sa chute et affiche 176 M US et 312 M dans le Monde, Deadpool 2 s'approche des 280 M, Le Book Club des 57.
Par contre, grosse chute pour A la dérive qui ne cumule que 21 M et devrait juste rentrer dans ses frais.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Les indestructibles 2 qui arrive en force et dont les premiers avis semblent dithyrambiques.
