La "formule" Marvel commence à en agacer plus d'un ? Les super héros au cinéma vont finir par s'étioler ? Pas en tout cas chez Marvel. Alors que Warner retient son souffle à quelques jours de la sortie de Justice League dont aucun avis n'a filtré, Thor : Ragnarok explose tous les records. plus de 121 M$ aux USA, près de 430 dans le monde pulvérisant les scores des deux premiers opus dont le très critiqué Monde des Ténèbres, bref deux fois par an le studio réveille le box office et ce n'est pas plus mal. Et en 2018 trois films sont prévus Black Panther, Infinity War (dont le trailer qui se fait désirer pourrait arriver à la fin du mois) et Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Bad Moms 2 jouait la contre programmation s'adressant à un public féminin bien lui en a pris, le film ouvre à 21 M pour un coût de 28, une bonne affaire pour Mila Kunis échaudée par l'échec de Jupiter Ascending.
Par la suite, Jigsaw plonge logiquement même si le film cumule 28 M, Tyler Perry's Boo 2 dépasse les 42, même si le contrat est rempli pour Geostorm à l'international, le film patine aux USA (28 M) par contre Happybirthdead continue sa lancée (+ de 52 M).
Enfin, Blade Runner 2049 peine sur le sol US 85 M, mais près de 240 à l'international.
Le week-end prochain, c'est Le crime de l'Orient-Express, la Fox a l'intelligence de ne pas faire comme en France, sortir le film en face d'un certain Star Wars.
