BO US-Split toujours en tête

Le thriller horrifique de M. Night Shyamalan Split avec plein de James McAvoy à lui tout seul continue de cartonner avec 77 M$ aux USA et dépassant les 100 M dans le monde, une aubaine pour Universal et Shyamalan qui est en train de devenir le plus gros succès du réalisateur depuis longtemps.
Le nouveau Lasse Hallström, Mes vies de chien fait une intrusion surprise pour 18 M et un coût de 22 faites le calcul, encore une prod Universal. Après Hatchi, Hallström (qui n'a jamais fait dans la dentelle) s'attaque ici à un chien qui se réincarne (sic) avec Dennis Quaid et Britt Robertson.
Resident Evil : Chapitre Final démarre à 13 M ce qui reste un score assez honnête surtout vu ceux des précédents films d'Anderson, mais pas énorme non plus.
Boosté par les Oscars, Les figures de l'ombre dépasse les 104 M, plus gros succès aussi pour Kevin Costner depuis longtemps, La La Land franchit les 106 M, les 223 dans le Monde pour ce carton qui commence à en énerver certains.
Enfin, Gold avec la nouvelle transformation de Matthew McConaughey est un peu le flop de la semaine avec 3 M à peine, second bide pour l'acteur après Free State of Jones et XxX 3 patine pour 33 M, même si il a remboursé son coût ailleurs, Diesel doit faire grise mine.
Le week end prochain c'est The Space Between US (sortie le 10 Mai en France) avec Asa Butterfield élevé sur Mars et la nouvelle version de The Rings..
