Encore un box office assez faible aux USA dû peut être au fameux ouragan Matthew qui fait des ravages ce qui n'a pas vraiment incité les américains à se rendre dans les salles.
Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est le thriller avec Emily Blunt La fille du train qui arrive en tête avec 24 M$ pour un coût de 45, soit un score très honnête pour cette production Dreamworks, Universal.
Miss Peregrine et les enfants particuliers baisse moins que prévu et récolte 15 M supplémentaires pour 51 M, mais 145 à l'international de quoi satisfaire la Fox peut être pour les autres livres.
Le très attendu The Birth Of Nation ouvre à 7 M sur moins d'écran ce qui en fait visiblement un bon départ par moyenne.
Par la suite, Les 7 mercenaires cumule 75 M aux USA et a largement rempli son contrat en Mondial, Cigognes et Cie avec 50 M se rattrape aussi dans le monde, par contre c'est un peu plus dur pour Deepwater qui confirme son mauvais score avec un cumul de 38 M.
Enfin, Sully dépasse les 113 M aux USA prouvant que Clint Eastwood est encore quelqu'un qui compte aux USA (curieux d'ailleurs son silence sur ces élections US).
Le week end prochain, en attendant Doctor Strange, c'est Mr Wolff avec Ben Affleck et Max Steel qui seront au rendez vous.
