Grand retour de Clint Eastwood dans les salles US qui dirigeait pour la première fois Tom Hanks dans Sully, l'histoire de ce pilote d'avion qui a posé son appareil en catastrophe sur l'Hudson en 2009.
Le film démarre en tête mais pour 35 M$, c'est un peu juste vu le budget de 60, mais le film devrait être vite remboursé, on est loin quand même du précédent carton d'Eastwood avec American Sniper.
Autre nouveauté, le film d'animation Robinson Crusoé fait un bide avec 3 M à peine au démarrage, le film sortira en Octobre en dtv en France et on se demande s'il était bien utile qu'il passe par la case salle aux USA.
Autrement, The Disappointments Room, film de fantômes avec Kate Beckinsale récolte 1 M dans un circuit limité.
Grosse dégringolade étonnante pour Une maison entre deux océans qui n'atteint même pas les 10 M en deux semaines, Suicide Squad dépasse largement les 307 M rien qu'aux USA confirmant son gros potentiel et battant certainement Batman V Superman, tenue idem pour Don't Breathe qui cumule 66 M, Sony tient enfin un très bon filon.
Pour finir, Comancheria frôle les 20 M et reste stable, Peter et Elliott le dragon devient un vrai petit succès (mérité) sur la durée avec 70 M et dépasse les 100 en mondial, par contre Kubo patine toujours à 40 M, mais n'est pas sorti partout, étonnant vu la qualité des images diffusées.
Le week end prochain, pas mal de films attendus, Bridget Jones Baby, Snowden et le nouveau Blair Witch pourrait faire bouger un peu les choses.
