Batman V Superman reste largement en tête pour sa deuxième semaine consécutive empochant 52 M supplémentaires, cumulant donc plus de 261 M $ aux Etats-Unis (remboursant ainsi son budget officiel) et près de 683 dans le monde et on parlait d'échec ? Certes, les détracteurs du film pointeront sa forte chute prévisible de 68 % mais pas aussi énorme que prévu (on parlait de 80 ce Samedi), du coup encore tout bénéf pour Warner qui doit sabler doublement le champagne.
Les deux nouveautés ne font pas d'étincelles, il s'agit de deux comédies, God's Not Dead 2 (8M) et Meet The Blacks (4 M). Par la suite, Zootopie s'approche doucement des 280 M, Mariage à la grecque 2 profite largement de la contre programmation pour près de 37 M, 10 Cloverfield Lane dépasse les 63 M.
Enfin à signaler la sortie limitée de Midnight Special qui récolte 994 000 $ dans 58 salles et la très bonne tenue de The Witch frôlant les 25 M dans un circuit moindre.
Le week end prochain, c'est Demolition avec Jake Gyllenhaal et Naomi Watts et The Boss le nouvau Melissa McCarthy qui essaieront de tenir tête à Batman V Superman.
