On n'avait plus de nouvelles d'Alex Proyas depuis son sympathique Prédictions en 2009 avec Nicolas Cage, après l'abandon de son Paradise Lost jugé trop cher, il revient quand même avec ce Gods of Egypt qui voit l'alliance d'un voleur et d'un dieu pour une quête mystique et dont voici les premières affiches.
Gerard Butler, Brenton Thwaites, Rufus Sewell et Nikolaj-Coster Waldau (de Game of Thrones) sont de la partie.
En boîte semble-t-il depuis un moment, le film a eu du mal a trouver un distributeur, on attend des premières images pour nous faire idée mais connaissant Proyas, on peut s'attendre à du spectacle. Sortie le 13 Avril 2016.
