Clint Eastwood va réaliser un film sur le pilote Chesley Sullenberger
Après le triomphe d'American Sniper, Clint Eastwood a choisit son prochain projet, un film sur le pilote d'avion de ligne Chesley Sullenberger dit Sully qui sauva plusieurs centaines de personnes en 2009 en posant son avion en perdition sur le fleuve Hudson. On ne sait pas si le film se centrera sur cette affaire où s'élargira d'avantage à la vie du pilote. Le communiqué Warner :
"Pour dire les choses simplement, Clint Eastwood est au sommet de son art : il fait partie de notre patrimoine national. Alors qu'il s'attelle à ce nouveau projet juste après le formidable AMERICAN SNIPER, c'est exaltant de le voir se plonger dans la vie d'un autre héros fascinant emprunté à l'actualité. C'est tout aussi réjouissant de collaborer avec Frank Marshall et Allyn Stewart pour travailler sur ce scénario captivant signé Todd Komarnicki".
