BO US-Déception surprise pour Tomorrowland
A la poursuite de Demain_FR
Week end prolongé aussi aux Etats-Unis de quatre jours ce qui inclut également les chiffres au box office.
Le film attendu était évidemment A la poursuite de demain/Tomorrowland le dernier Brad Bird, avec une promo bien gérée par Disney, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas et de bonnes critiques, le film fait un démarrage pourtant décevant de 41 M de $ pour un budget de 190.
Il est vrai que ce week end du Memorial Day, la fréquentation des salles est semble-t-il très faible, le film sera à surveiller sur la durée, mais il est clair que c'est une relative déception pour le studio.
Le remake de Poltergeist réalisé par l'excellent Gil Kenan (La cité de l'ombre) s'en sort honorablement avec 26 M pour un coût sans doute pas énorme et ça fait du bien de voir un vrai film fantastique normal avec un found footage qui commence à tirer à sa fin.
Par la suite, Mad Max Fury Road baisse moins fortement que prévu avec 95 M de cumul, Pitch Perfect 2 continue son incroyable parcours pour un total de 126 M en deux semaines.
La semaine prochaine, c'est San Andreas et Aloha le dernier Cameron Crowe qui seront à l'appel.
