Mais jusqu'où va aller American Gangster ? On se le demande bien, week-end du SuperBowl oblige, la fréquentation des salles est moindre pour cet événement, mais le film de Clint Eatwood ajoute plus de 30 M de $ dans son escarcelle frôlant carrément les 250 M et le film n'est pas sortit partout.
Projet Almanac, la production Michael Bay en found footage dans laquelle des ados s'amusent avec une machine à voyager dans le temps démarre à 8 M, un départ qui peut paraître faible mais le film n'en a coûté que 12 !
Par contre nouveau gros flop pour Kevin Costner avec Black or White qui ouvre à 6 M, la résurrection de l'acteur qui enchaîne film sur film et flop sur flop aura été de courte durée. A noter que Draft Day le film d'Ivan Reitman sortira en dtv ce mois-ci sous le titre Le Pari.
Autrement, Paddington crée la surprise en se hissant à la deuxième place avec 50 M, The Imitation Game s'approche des 60 M et Taken 3 dépasse les 81.
Le week-end prochain, c'est la sortie US du Septième fils mais surtout de Jupiter Ascending dont les premiers avis français disent en gros que le film est tout simplement démentiel.
On devrait voir aussi un premier teaser de Batman V Superman, mais aucun intéressé n'a confirmé pour le moment cette rumeur.
