BO US-Déception pour Jack Ryan
Avec Jack Ryan : Shadow Recruit, Paramount espérait relancer les aventures de Jack Ryan après une première tentative de "reboot" en 2002 avec La somme de toutes les peurs avec Ben Affleck qui n'avait été visbiement pas concluant, peine perdue.
Malgré une grosse promo et la présence de Kenneth Branagh, Chris Pine, Keira Knightley où Kevin Costner le film démarre à 17 M de $ à la 4ème place et ce malgré visiblement des critiques plutôt positives.
On se demande vraiment où vont les goûts des américains qui ont donc mis en tête la comédie afro américaine Ride Along réalisé par Tim Story (connu en France pour Les 4 Fantastiques) qui empoche 41 M pour un coût de 25 pour un film qui ne sortira certainement jamais en salles dans l'hexagone.
Ryan se fait même battre par le film d'animation The Nut Job qui démarre à 20 M, mais pour un coût de 40 quand même.
Autrement, Du sang et des larmes contrairement à ce que l'on aurait pût envisager tient bien la route avec une 2ème place et 74 M de $ de cumul, American Bluff s'approche des 120 M, ses récompenses au Golden Globes ont sans doute joué, La reine des neiges dépasse les 332 M et Le loup de Wall Street les 90.
Enfin, Un été à Osage County remonte à la 8ème place avec 18 M et une nouvelle nomination pour l'Oscar à Meryl Streep qui bat des records en ce domaine.
Le week-end prochain, c'est l'attendu (ou redouté ?) I, Frankenstein qui sera la grosse sortie.
